A lot of anglers still don’t realise the great fishing available if you do some trolling.

Two Rocks is perfect for this as many northern species hang around up this way throughout the year.

Even right at the end of winter, before Spring’s warm weather hits, Nick showed his client Mark that even if it’s hard to jig or bait fish the bottom, trolling can usually be relied on for some good fish.

In the first video, Nick shows you what to look for so you aren’t just trolling blindly, as well as what lures to put out the back.

In this video, Nick shows you how switching to a minnow lure, in this case the Halco 190DD in the Chrome Pink R15 Pattern.

This is a deadly lure for mackerel of all kinds and, by hugging contour lines current is pushing towards, then keeping close to bait balls, they nailed this really big Sharkie that was pushing 10 kilos.

In this video, Nick describes how after the conditions calmed off, trolling a Deep Diver at 10 knots near bait balls produced this Bluefin Tuna which was bigger than they’d seen in Perth for some time.
